June 24, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Colonel Andrej Kra\u016d\u010danka has been appointed as deputy chief of the General Staff in charge of territorial defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaksandr \u0141uka\u0161enka made the appointment today, his press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kra\u016d\u010danka previously served as first deputy chief of the General Staff Main Operational Directorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u017amitryj Stra\u0161ynski, Kra\u016d\u010danka’s predecessor as head of territorial defense, has been appointed as head of the Armed Forces’ Main Military Inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stra\u0161ynski led the Territorial Defense Directorate for less than a year, since August 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also today, \u0141uka\u0161enka promoted several officers to major general: Ihar Kaz\u0142o\u016d, deputy commander of the Northwestern Operational Command; Missile and Artillery Chief Rus\u0142an \u010cecha\u016d; Vadzim Sura\u016d, chief of the 72nd Combined Arms Training Centre for Warrant Officers and Junior Specialists based in Barysa\u016d, Minsk region; and Alaksandar Byka\u016d, first deputy commander of the interior ministry’s Internal Troops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy Emergency Management Minister Siarhiej Sa\u0142anovi\u010d and Alaksiej Ala\u0161kievi\u010d, deputy head of the State Forensic Examination Committee, have also been promoted to major general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrej Misiu\u010denka, head of the Homiel Customs Department, has been awarded the 3rd rank of customs advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
