July 11, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The North Atlantic Alliance members urged all countries “not to provide any kind of assistance to Russia\u2019s aggression” against Ukraine, condemning those who are supporting Moscow and prolonging the war, the 2024 NATO Summit declaration said<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus continues to facilitate the war by providing Russia with its territory and infrastructure, it noted, referring to the integration between both countries. Russia stepped up efforts to boost closer ties with Belarus about six years ago, linking the progress to Moscow’s continued support for Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Russia\u2019s deepening political and military integration of Belarus, including the deployment of advanced Russian military capabilities and personnel, has negative implications for regional stability and the defence of the Alliance,” the statement stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NATO members condemned “Russia\u2019s irresponsible nuclear rhetoric and coercive nuclear signalling,” including the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus, describing it as a “strategic intimidation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2024 NATO Summit concludes today in Washington, D.C. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
