July 12, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Juryj Ambrazevi\u010d discussed the <\/em><\/strong>interaction between Belarus and the United Nations with Rasul Baghirov, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Belarus, at their Thursday meeting in Minsk, the foreign ministry’s press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting focused on “directions and priorities of the UN program activities” in Belarus, achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and cooperation in preparing the draft Framework Program for Sustainable Development between Belarus and the UN for 2026\u20132031.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sides also discussed Belarus’ preparations for the upcoming UN Summit of the Future and the General Assembly High-level Week scheduled for late September in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials “agreed to continue developing constructive relations” between Belarus and the UN, the foreign ministry stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One year ago, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka said the UN\u00a0turned from \u201ca civilized dialogue platform\u201d into \u201ca diplomatic casino\u201d commanded by the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
