July 12, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The Committee for State Security (KGB) has added three people to the list of \u201cindividuals and companies involved in terrorist activities,\u201d taking the total of entries to 1,229, its Telegram channel says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rights groups declared two of them, Ja\u016dhien K\u0142ada\u016d and Siarhiej \u0160eleh, political prisoners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

K\u0142ada\u016d is accused of inciting hatred and calling for sanctions, the KGB noted. This contradicts earlier reports by the Viasna Human Rights Center that said the man had been given one year in prison last November for insulting Alaksanadr \u0141uka\u0161enka. In March, the interior ministry blacklisted him as an extremist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0160eleh was reportedly sentenced to eight and a half years in prison on charges of financing terrorist and extremist activities in connection with donations to opposition solidarity groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ja\u016dhien Cihana\u016d, convicted for inciting hatred, is the third addition to the terrorist list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The KGB started posting updates to its terrorist register on Telegram after an attack by the opposition cyberactivists paralyzed its website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
