November 1, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka hopes to meet Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune soon, says the Belarusian ruler\u2019s congratulatory message on Algeria’s Revolution Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus is interested in expanding food exports and setting up plants for joint production of agricultural machinery and vehicles, his press office quotes the message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Algeria and Belarus are countries with rich cultural traditions, strong economies, progressive science and technology and similar values which form a solid basis for strengthening bilateral ties,” the message reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus and Algeria established diplomatic relations in 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, trade between the two countries amounted to $1.01 million. It mainly consisted of Belarusian exports of potash fertilizers, stationery and textiles, according to the Belarusian embassy to Egypt, responsible for relations with Algeria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
