July 23, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Belarusian agricultural and industrial machinery is in demand in the Amur province, its governor Vasily Orlov told Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka today in Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Orlov, 40 percent of tractors and 25 percent of combines in the province’s agriculture are Belarusian-made. “We consider it reasonable to propose to our Belarusian friends to create a multi-brand center of such equipment in the Amur region. It could also cover the neighboring regions,” he said, as quoted by \u0141uka\u0161enka’s press office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The governor expressed interest in cooperating in the agro-industrial complex, deep processing of products, mining industry, and woodworking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Amur province is also open to joint ventures and ready to provide all necessary support, he continued. It has an advanced development territory, which provides benefits for investors, he noted. In addition, the Russian government is finalizing legislation on international territories of advanced development, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orlov added that the province has extensive experience with China. “Several transportation and logistics routes have been built. In particular, we are promoting the Amur Corridor project. We invite our Belarusian partners and investors too,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, the governor invited Belarusian investors to join the construction of an industrial park, a project implemented by Gazprom and Sibur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
