Rights groups consider her persecution to be politically motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trial comes as police in Belarus have stepped up harassment of relatives of former political prisoners and exiled activists and journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iryna and her daughter, blogger and designer Volha Takar\u010duk, were arrested during a police raid on January 23 targeting people who received grocery aid from opposition initiatives based abroad.
