August 1, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The resignation of [two] members of the opposition United Transitional Cabinet shows its political irrelevance, analyst Arciom \u0160rajbman has told Pozirk<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0160rajbman was commenting on the resignation of Valeryj Sacha\u0161\u010dyk as the cabinet’s security chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the absence of any real armed or underground resistance, it is unclear what his job was, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps the cabinet can deal with social and humanitarian projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In fact, it is no coincidence that two ‘ministers’ – for culture and social affairs – have stayed,” \u0160rajbman said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Obviously, there are no human resources, funds and support from international partners to form some kind of paramilitary force,” he stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a video message, Sacha\u0161\u010dyk, a former commander of the Brest-based 38th Separate Guards Air Assault Brigade, said that opposition leader \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja did not understand specifics of his job, noting that the establishment of his office two years ago was just politics of the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news comes five weeks after the resignation of Valeryj Kavale\u016dski as foreign policy chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
