Government plans to open rehab centers in prisons

July 9, Pozirk. Belarusian government has directed to set up rehabilitation centers for convicts with alcohol or drug addictions in prisons

The basic period of rehabilitation is set at a maximum of five months. The program features therapy sessions, fitness and counselling.

The rehabilitation centers will be financed from the national budget funds allocated for the interior ministry.

The Council of Ministers’ Directive No 480 has been published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
