Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

August 19, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1572 against the US dollar at the August 19 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell to 4.4439 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.466 per euro. The rubel remained at 3.5465 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (August 12– 16), the rubel fell by 0.86 percent against the dollar, 1.78 percent against the euro and 1.56 percent against the yuan. It gained 0.96 percent of its value against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
