Rubel slips against dollar, euro

August 26, Pozirk. The rubel has slipped to 3.1957 per US dollar and 3.5396 per euro at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

It has been flat against the Chinese currency since Friday at 4.4992 per 10 yuan.

In today’s trading, the rubel rose to 3.1957 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (August 19–23), the rubel fell by 1.1 percent against the dollar, 1.44 percent against the euro and 1.74 percent against the yuan. It gained 1.02 percent of its value against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
