Russia designates Belsat TV as undesirable

September 13, Pozirk. Russia has designated Belsat TV as an “undesirable organization,” the Russian Prosecutor’s Office reported.

Despite Belsat’s declared impartiality, it is working to discredit Russia’s domestic and foreign policy, cast it in a negative light and criticize Russian-Belarusian integration, the office said.

Its “hostile rhetoric” intensified after Russia’s launched its “special military operation” in Ukraine, it added.

The undesirable organizations are banned from opening branches in Russia and disseminating information there.
