Rubel hits new low against US dollar at BCSE

November 11, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.3407 against the US dollar at the November 11 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), hitting another year’s low after the plunge to 3.3324 six days ago.

The Belarusian currency also fell to 3.42 per 100 Russian rubles but climbed to 4.6702 per 10 Chinese yuan.

The rubel has not traded against the euro and remained at 3.6435 against the European currency.

Last week, when trading was held from November 4 to 6, the rubel lost 0.33 percent against the dollar, 0.6 percent against the euro and 0.55 percent against the yuan, but gained 0.12 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 4.44 percent against the dollar in the first 10 months of 2024.
