Rubel rises against US dollar, yuan, Russian currency at BCSE on January 14

January 14, Pozirk. The rubel has appreciated to 3.496 against the US dollar at the January 14 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also rose to 4.7418 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.399 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.5924 against the euro.

Last week (January 6 – 11), the rubel rose 0.68 percent against the dollar, 0.32 percent against the euro and 2.9 percent against the yuan but fell 1.47 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
