Rubel slides against US dollar, yuan at week’s last trading session

January 17, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.4751 against the US dollar at the January 17 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also dropped to 4.7448 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.5802 per euro and 3.3667 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (January 13 – 17), the rubel fell 0.09 percent against the dollar and 0.6 percent against the yuan but rose 0.52 percent against the euro and 1.14 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
