Łukašenka appoints Biełaruśfilm CEO, Mahiloŭ region’s officials

March 27, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has promoted Dźmitryj Siamionaŭ, an official with the culture department at the Minsk City Executive Committee, to CEO of the state-run Biełaruśfilm film studio, his press office reported.

Siamionaŭ has served as director of the Belarusian Puppet Theater (2022-24) and Zolak Children and Youth Palace.

He replaced Juryj Alaksiej, who has been in the job for less than two years and promised to make a movie about Łukašenka.

The Belarusian ruler has also appointed Dzianis Jurčanka as CEO of the Belarusian Glass Company and Mikałaj Kazakoŭ as rector of the Belarusian State University of Transport.

He has also approved the appointment of Ksenija Panciuchova as deputy chairwoman of the Homiel Regional Executive Committee; and Siarhiej Čartkoŭ as chairman of the Mahiloŭ City Executive Committee.

Michaił Krycki, Alaksiej Šaraj and Ivan Bahiel will be in charge of the Mahiloŭ region’s district executive committees in Babrujsk, Kryčaŭ and Kruhłaje, respectively.

Siarhiej Jankovič has been appointed as head of the Navabielica district in Homiel; Siarhiej Rubanaŭ as head of Maskoŭski district in Minsk and Arciom Šehidzievič as head of the Frunzienski district in Minsk.
