Rubel up against key currencies at BCSE, no trading in euro

July 9, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.9524 against the US dollar at the July 9 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.0909 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.7644 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.5001 against the euro.

Last week, with tradings from June 30 to July 2, the rubel gained 0.01 percent against the dollar, 0.1 percent against the yuan and 0.05 percent against the Russian ruble but lost 2.53 percent against the euro.

The Belarusian currency gained 14.6 percent against the dollar in the first six months of 2025.
