Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

August 25, BPN. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1717 against the US dollar at the August 25 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE). 

It fell to 4.3481 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.3499 per 100 Russian rubles but climbed to 3.4481 against the euro. 

In the outgoing week (August 21 – 25), the rubel fell 1.36 percent against the greenback and 1.76 percent against the yuan but rose 0.91 percent against the euro and 0.31 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 10.58 percent of its value against the dollar from January to July.
