Rubel keeps rising against US dollar, euro, yuan at week’s last trading

December 5, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.8767 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, with the rates remaining close to the level recorded in mid-May 2023, when it stood at 2.8906.

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.3575 per euro and 4.064 per 10 yuan, but dropped to 3.7845 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (December 1–5), the rubel rose by 1.11 percent against the dollar, 1.25 percent against the euro and 0.26 percent against the yuan but lost 1.82 percent against the ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 16.07 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2025.
