Embassy in Tel Aviv advises Belarusians to use local airlines to leave Israel

March 9, Pozirk. The Belarusian embassy in Tel Aviv has announced that it is now possible to leave Israel on regular flights operated by Israeli airlines El Al, Israir, Arkia and Air Haifa.
The fastest and most convenient way is to purchase a ticket directly on the airline’s official website or through a licensed travel agency, it noted.
Tourists and foreigners who find themselves in an emergency and are unable to book a ticket on their own can fill out a special form from the Israeli Ministry of Transport to receive assistance in organising their departure, the diplomats added.
The embassy did not specify the destinations of flights operated by the Israeli airlines.
The Belarusian flagship carrier Biełavija along with other airlines cancelled flights to Israel following the launch of the military operation by the United States and Israel in Iran on February 28.
Last week, Biełavija picked up passengers on evacuation flights from Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The next evacuation flight from Oman is scheduled for March 10.
Hostilities in the region continue since February 28, after the United States and Israel hit Iran, killing its longtime ruler Ali Khamenei and other top officials.
Tehran retaliated by launching missile and drone strikes at Israel and Gulf states.
The US Operation Epic Fury against Iran aims to destroy the Iranian missile industry, defeat the fleet, prevent nuclear weapons development and ensure freedom for the Iranian people, according to US President Donald Trump.
Alaksandar Łukašenka denounced the US-Israeli strikes on Iran as a “treacherous attack.”
