Cyberpartisans hack National Library’s website

March 27, Pozirk. The Cyberpartisans hacktivist group has claimed responsibility for breaking into the website management system of the National Library of Belarus.
The group said in its Telegram channel that it posted the message “Žyvie Biełaruś!” (Long Live Belarus!) – banned by the government several years ago – to mark the anniversary of Belarus’ short-lived independence in 1918.
The group recalled that the library’s construction had been ordered by Alaksandar Łukašenka and financed partly through compulsory donations from people. “Therefore, one of the key elements of education was disgraced by the regime as a symbol of its capability to achieve its goals through oppression rather than cooperation,” the group noted.
The building was commissioned in Minsk in 2006. Pro-Russian propagandist Vadzim Hihin has been in charge of it since 2023.
