Belarusian rubel continues to weaken

August 18, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.0313 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency has also dropped to 3.4989 per euro, 4.5021 per 10 yuan and 3.5632 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (August 10 – August 14), the rubel has weakened by 1.43 percent against the dollar, by 1.28 percent against the euro and 1.31 percent against the yuan but rose by 1.58 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 0.37 percent of its value against the dollar in the first seven months of 2026.
