Rubel spikes against euro, dollar, yuan
December 26, BPN. The Belarusian currency spiked against the euro, US dollar and yuan at the December 26 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It rose to 2.85 rubels per euro, 2.6636 per dollar and 3.7938 per 10 yuan. But it slid to 3.8787 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (December 19-23), the rubel plunged by 7.23 percent against the euro, 5.4 percent against the dollar, and 4.65 percent against the yuan. It climbed 2.19 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency depreciated by 4.44 percent against the greenback from January to November.
