December 28, BPN. The Belarusian government has significantly cut funding for its research-intensive technologies and equipment program for 2021-2025, according to Directive No. 907 by the Council of Ministers, published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
The directive reduced funding to 463 million rubels ($172,6 million), an 18.1 percent decrease compared to April, when it was slated at over 546 million rubels ($191.8 million).
The government is to spend a total of 398.9 million rubels (previously 473,2 million) on the program. Money is also expected to come from companies (53 million) and creditors (2,6 million).
