Unmanned copter shown to Łukašenka nothing new – analyst
January 20, BPN. The unmanned reconnaissance and attack helicopter demonstrated to Alaksandr Łukašenka has “traveled to exhibitions for several years,” a military analyst told BPN.
On January 20, the head of state visited the Intellectual Belarus exhibition in Minsk to see domestically developed technologies, state media reported. The Hunter drone was among the products on display.
“This is probably the only sample. It is hardly possible to set up serial production of the Belarusian reconnaissance UAV,” the analyst said.
It is remarkable that Łukašenka already saw Hunter at the Abuz-Lasnoŭski training range in October 2022. There, he asked if it was the only piece, warning State Defense Industry Committee Chairman Dźmitryj Pantus: “God forbid they tell me that you were making a show of it here, there will be trouble.”
