Military equipment removed from long-term storage facilities

January 24, BPN. The Belarusian Ministry of Defense says the removal of military equipment from long-term storage facilities has begun as part of “joint combat coordination of the regional group of troops (RGV) of Belarus and Russia.”

The task is being performed by units of the Belarusian Armed Forces’ 11th separate mechanized brigade, it said.

On January 20, reports came through of this brigade’s materiel suppliers being put on alert to perform tasks as part of the RGV.
