Investigative YouTube channel labeled extremist

February 3, BPN. A court in Belarus has labeled an investigative YouTube channel “extremist content.”

The decision to blacklist the Alliance of Belarus’ Investigators was made at the request of prosecutors in Bierazino, Minsk region, the Porecutor General’s Office reported.

The channel was launched on March 15, 2021. It has some 23,000 subscribers, and its 20 videos have collected a total of 3.4 million views.

The last video, uploaded five months ago, focuses on the situation in Belarusian prisons and the penitentiary system as a whole.

The channel often cooperates with the BYPOL association of former security forces and the Cyberpartisans hacktivist group.
