Cichanoŭskaja’s cabinet establishes medal to reward service to Belarus

February 12, BPN. The opposition’s cabinet established the Honor and Dignity medal, to be funded by charities, governments and other legitimate donors.

According to the cabinet’s directive, signed on February 11 by its chair Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja, national revival secretary Alina Koŭšyk has one month to draft regulations for an awards committee.

Koŭšyk says the medal has already been manufactured, and its design “reflects the Fatherland’s pride in a person who served it exceptionally.”
