Gas price to remain same in Belarus for next three years – energy ministry

February 23, BPN. Belarus will pay Russia the same price for natural gas as in 2022, in Russian currency, Energy Minister Viktar Karankievič said.

The natural gas price as well as extra charges for natural gas sold by Gazpromtransgaz Belarus are fixed in the protocol, signed by Russia’s Gazprom and the Belarusian government for 2023-2025, he added.

In 2022, Belarus paid $128.52 per thousand cubic meters of gas, switching to the Russian ruble in settlements in April.
