Belarus’ banks report 57-percent rise in profit 2022
February 24, BPN. The total profit of Belarus-based banks rose by 57.6 percent in 2022 to almost 3 billion rubels (about $1 billion) on January 1, the National Bank’s recent report says.
Banks assets grew by 6.62 percent to 104.9 billion (about $37.5 billion)
The total authorized capital of the Belarusian banks increased by 25.7 percent to 17.5 billion rubels.
Eighteen banks were registered in Belarus on January 1, including four state-owned and 14 foreign-controlled financial institutions.
