Rubel down against dollar, Russian currency at BCSE
February 27, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.808 at the February 27 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also dropped against the Russian currency to 3.7444 per 100 rubles, but climbed against the Chinese yuan to 4.0487 per 10 yuan.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 2.9888 against the euro.
Last week, (February 20-24), the rubel rose by 0.46 percent against the dollar, by 0.47 percent against the euro, by 0.15 percent against the yuan and by 0.31 percent against the Russian currency.
The rubel strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January following a 7.39 percent plunge against it in 2022.
