Rubel up against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

December 12, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.1733 against the US dollar at the December 12 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed to 4.4182 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.5112 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.4544 against the euro.

Last week (December 4 – 8), the rubel lost 2.1 percent against the dollar, 0.89 percent against the euro and 1.9 percent against the yuan. It gained 0.3 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 13.82 percent of its value against the dollar from January to November.
