Belarusian military instructors to train in Russia

January 15, Pozirk. A group of Belarusian servicemen has left for Russia for training, the defense ministry’s press office reported.
Training sessions will focus on Russian combat experience in Ukraine, it added.
Upon return to Belarus, the servicemen will reportedly serve as combat instructors, sharing their knowledge with other soldiers.
The ministry has not disclosed the exact number of soldiers who have been sent to Russia. A video by its press office shows at least 40 people. In February 2022, Russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine in which the Belarusian authorities supported the Kremlin. Minsk allowed the Russian army to attack Ukraine from its territory and shell Ukrainian cities from Belarus for months.
