Rubel keeps falling against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

January 18, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1707 against the US dollar at the January 18 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell to 4.3788 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.5741 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.4266 against the euro.

Last week (January 8 – 12), the rubel rose 1.4 percent against the greenback, 1.3 percent against the yuan and 0.69 percent against the euro but fell 1.91 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 16.12 percent of its value against the dollar in 2023.
