Interior ministry: AI, TikTok can be used for revolutions

March 4, Pozirk. Deputy Interior Minister Hiennadź Kazakievič has said that artificial intelligence and neural networks can be used for destruction and revolutions, promising a response to these “challenges.”
“Technology can only be countered with technology,” Kazakievič said yesterday on STV.
“Colleagues from GUBOP [the Main Directorate for Fighting Organized Crime] say that the next revolution will be TikTok revolution, and it is not so harmless,” he noted.
“So we are actively adopting foreign experience and actively developing our own methods, from information counteraction to counteraction in social networks and popular messengers.”
He also praised the national public security surveillance system, which he said includes 35,000 cameras.
“Last year, several hundred crimes were solved using this system in Minsk alone. We will continue to develop this system in the future,” he said.
