Belarus’ deputy foreign minister visiting North Korea

April 17, Pozirk. A Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Jaŭhien Šastakoŭ arrived in North Korea’s Pyongyang on April 16, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported, without specifying any further details.

The Belarusian foreign ministry did not announce the visit.

On January 18, Foreign Minister Siarhiej Alejnik and North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Kim Son Gyong discussed “the deepening of bilateral cooperation” on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Kampala, Uganda.
