June 6, Pozirk. The Belarusian State Defense Industry Committee has reported “successful tests” of 9A33-2B vehicles carrying Osa surface-to-air missiles, apparently delivered to a foreign customer, without specifying the country.

The vehicles traveled 400 kilometers and were involved in a live-fire exercise, after an upgrade at a military plant that repairs electronic equipment in Barysaŭ, Minsk region, it said.

Belarus remains one of the world’s leading arms exporters “despite all the so-called sanctions and restrictions,” Prime Minister Raman Hałoŭčanka, a former chairman of the Belarusian State Defense Industry Committee, said earlier this year.

The official did not disclose any details on arms exports, noting that Minsk’s priority was to equip the Belarusian Armed Forces and other units.
