Rubel up against US dollar, euro at BCSE

August 23, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.1862 against the US dollar at the August 23 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed to 3.52 per euro but fell to 4.4992 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.5102 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (August 19– 23), the rubel fell by 1.1 percent against the dollar, 1.44 percent against the euro and 1.74 percent against the yuan. It gained 1.02 percent of its value against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
