Reservists to practice in Viciebsk region
September 23, Pozirk. Territorial defense authorities in the Viciebsk region will hold a drill on September 27–30 to improve territorial defense management and prepare reservists for service, the defense ministry reported.
The training will involve executive committees, military enlistment offices and reservists from the Viciebsk and Orša districts.

Reservists will be trained to resist sabotage groups, guard key facilities, maintain law and order and form people’s volunteer corps.
Andrej Kraŭčanka, deputy chief of the General Staff, will supervise the exercise.
Earlier, Pozirk reported on a boot camp for reservists in the Viciebsk region.
Alaksandar Łukašenka’s government has often held military maneuvers, drills and boot camps amid tension with the West.
