October 7, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has left for Russia as its ruler Vladimir Putin turns 72, Pul Pervogo, his press office’s unofficial Telegram channel reports.
On Tuesday, the Belarusian ruler is expected to participate in a meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) leaders in Moscow. The summit is said to have a “very broad” agenda including security, high technology, trade, economy and humanitarian cooperation.
Łukašenka’s visit will reportedly feature an informal meeting with the CIS leaders invited to Putin’s residence on October 7.
