Rubel rebounds against US dollar at BCSE
October 11, Pozirk. The rubel has appreciated against the US and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it rose to 3.2832 per dollar and 4.6708 per 10 yuan. However, it slipped to 3.4262 per 100 Russian rubles.
The was no trading in euros. EUR/BYN stands at 3.62.
Previously, the rubel was at annual lows against the dollar for three straight days.
In the outgoing week (October 7–11), the rubel lost 0.95 percent against the dollar and 0.23 percent against the yuan. It was flat against the euro and gained 0.92 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 1.06 percent against the dollar in the first nine months of 2024.
