Rubel at new low against US dollar

October 17, Pozirk. The rubel has fallen to new annual lows against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it reached 3.3119 against the greenback after hitting the previous record of 3.3104 yesterday and two other lows on October 8 and 9.
It also fell to 3.407 per 100 Russian rubles. However, it rose to 4.6569 per 10 yuan.
It was flat against the euro at 3.606.
Last week (October 7–11), the rubel lost 0.95 percent against the dollar and 0.23 percent against the yuan. It was flat against the euro and gained 0.92 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 1.06 percent against the dollar in the first nine months of 2024.
