Rubel up 2.1 percent against US dollar at week’s last trading session

December 6, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4065 against the US dollar at the December 6 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also rose to 3.52 per euro and 4.6805 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.3964 per 100 Russian rubles.
In the outgoing week (December 2–6), the rubel gained 4.58 percent of its value against the dollar, 7.25 percent against the euro and 5.08 percent against the Chinese yuan but lost 2.98 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent of its value against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
