Rubel weakens against major currencies on December 11
December 11, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated against the US, EU and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it dropped to 3.4556 per dollar, 3.6 per euro and 4.7398 per 10 yuan. However, it rose to 3.3805 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (December 2–6), the rubel gained 4.58 percent of its value against the dollar, 7.25 percent against the euro and 5.08 percent against the Chinese yuan but lost 2.98 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
