Rubel up against US dollar, euro, yuan at week’s final session
December 13, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4755 against the US dollar at the December 13 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.6742 per euro and 4.7848 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.3558 per 100 Russian rubles.
In the outgoing week (December 9–13), the rubel lost 2.03 percent of its value against the dollar, 4.38 percent against the euro and 2.23 percent against the Chinese yuan but gained 1.2 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
