Rubel trumps euro at BCSE on December 19

December 19, Pozirk. The rubel has appreciated against the common European currency at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it fell to 3.4720 per dollar, 3.3802 per 100 Russian rubles and 4.7918 per 10 yuan, but rose to 3.6451 per euro.
Last week (December 9–13), the rubel lost 2.03 percent of its value against the dollar, 4.38 percent against the euro and 2.23 percent against the Chinese yuan but gained 1.2 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
