Rubel slides against US dollar at BCSE on December 18

December 18, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.4714 against the US dollar at the December 18 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also fell to 4.7773 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.3774 per 100 Russian rubles but climbed to 3.66 per euro.
Last week (December 9–13), the rubel lost 2.03 percent of its value against the dollar, 4.38 percent against the euro and 2.23 percent against the Chinese yuan but gained 1.2 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
