Rubel up against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE on December 24

December 24, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4216 against the US dollar at the December 24 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.52 per euro and 4.6937 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.4065 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (December 16–20), the rubel gained 0.83 percent of its value against the dollar, 2.57 percent against the euro and 0.47 percent against the Chinese yuan but fell 0.94 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
