CEC: early voting turnout at 41.8 percent

January 25, Pozirk. The early voting in Belarus’ seventh presidential election has been completed with a turnout of 41.8 percent, the Central Election Commission (CEC) reports.
This is a record turnout for Belarusian elections, according to Pozirk‘s analysis of the CEC’s historical data.
The number is close to the official early turnout at the 2020 presidential election with 41.7 percent.
The CEC reported a turnout of 42.95 for the Mahiloŭ region, 42.68 percent for the Minsk region, 41.99 percent for the Brest region, 41.72 percent for the Homiel region, 41.51 percent for the Viciebsk region, 41.14 percent for Minsk and 40.7 percent for the Hrodna region.
Officials reported the previous early voting record of 41.71 percent in the elections for parliament and local councils in 2024.
