Rubel climbs against US dollar, yuan at BCSE on February 18
February 18, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.2603 against the US dollar at the February 18 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.4362 per 10 Chinese yuan but dropped to 3.41 per euro and 3.5441 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (February 10 – 14), the rubel climbed 3.73 percent against the dollar, 3.61 percent against the euro and 4.27 percent against the yuan but lost 2.49 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 1.73 percent against the dollar in January, after losing 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
